Dr. Christian Borch (Copenhagen Business School, CBS, Department of Management,
Politics and Philosophy);


 Associate Professor at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. His research interests include political sociology, social theory, power, sociology of crowds and architecture and urban space. His main publications include "The Politics of Crowd:  : An Alternative History of Sociology", Niklas Luhman", "Gabriel Tarde (1843-1904)" and "Architectural Atmospheres: On the Experience and Politics of Architecture".



Dr. Erik Neveu (Sciences Po Rennes)



Professor at the Sciences Po Rennes. His research interests include cultural studies, social movements, political science and journalism. His main publications include "Introduction aux Cultural Studies", "Sociologie des Mouvements Sociaux", "Sociologie du journalisme" and "Political Journalism".



Dr. Gustavo Cardoso (ISCTE- Lisbon Universitary Institute)



Researcher at CIES-IUL and Professor of "Media and Society" at ISCTE - Lisbon University Institute. His research interests include communication and media studies, the information society, cultural industries and telecommunications. His main publications include "The network society: from knowledge to police".



Dr. João Carlos Correia (University of Beira Interior)


 Associate Professor at University of Beira Interior and Researcher in Labcomm. He is Director of Studies in Communication (Labcom) and author, among others, of "Communication and Citizenship" (Livros Horizonte- in portuguese). His research interests includes political communication, new tecnologies and Public Sphere Studies.



Dr. Todd Gitlin (Columbia University)

Professor of journalism and sociology and chair of the Ph.D. program in Communications at Columbia University. Recipient of the Bosch Berlin Prize in Public Policy in 2011 and author of The Whole World Is Watching: Mass Media in the Making,  Inside Prime TimeOccupy Nation:  The Roots, the Spirit, and the Promise of Occupy Wall Street . He writes on media, revolutions, and democracy.
